Annual herb.10-20 (-25) cm. Stem erect, usually simple, many, arising from base. variably glandular. hairy, viscid. Basal leaves spathulate to oblanceolate, subacute, base narrowed into a petiole. Cauline leaves sessile. Leaves usually glabrous on surfaces, ± glandular on the margins. Flowers inclined when young. Sepals 4-5 mm, ovate, with a broad scarious margin, densely glandular. Petals white, as long or longer than the sepals. Capsule exceeding the sepals. Seeds minutely tuberculate.
