Euphorbia ligularia Roxb.
Very similar to Euphorbia nivulia, from which it differs chiefly in the shorter stature (2-5m tall), the 5-angled branches and the more narrowly-oblanceolate acute leaves up to 30 cm long.
Fl. Per.: ‘in the hot weather’ (Parker).
Holotype: ‘China’, (cultd.), ? Osbeck in Hb. Linn. No. 630.1 (LINN).
Distribution: India (Deccan). In Pakistan only as a cultivated plant, being used for hedges.
