Hedge Bamboo is a native of China and Japan. It is a hardy plant, making excellent stiff, closely-growing hedges and is occasionally grown in the plains of the Punjab. The only local herbarium collection is as follows: Agri-horticultural Gardens, Lahore, R.N. Parker 3264(K).
