Acacia nilotica ssp. hemispherica Ali & Faruqi in Pak.J.Bot. 1:4. 1969.
Plant semicircular in outline, main stem almost completely obscure; fruit almost straight or slightly wavy, sometimes constricted because of lack of seed formation.
Fl. Per. March-August.
Holotype: Plant semicircular in outline, up to 10 yards wide, c. 10 ft. tall, c. 2 miles ahead of Paradise Point, Karachi, 6.4.1965, S. I. Ali (KUH).
Distribution: Confined mostly to the edges of dried stream beds near Paradise Point and adjoining areas, c. 15 miles from Karachi proper.
