Acacia veracruzensis Schenck
A shrub or small tree. Stipular spines joined at the base, stout. Leaf paribipinnate with 6-8 pinnae, leaflets 8-12 mm long, 2-3.5 mm wide. Solitary nectaries occur underneath at the base of rachis and pinnae. Flowers in globose heads.
Distribution: Native of Mexico, introduced in Lahore.
