Jasminum humile forma pubigerum (D.Don) Grohmann, Stat. nov.
Jasminum humile var. pubigerum (D. Don) KitamuraJasminum pubigerum D. Don
Branches, leaves and calyx teeth pubescent. Calyx teeth slightly longer.
Type: NW. India, Royle (K).
Distribution: NW. Himalaya in India and Pakistan.
As the hairiness of Jasminum humile varies to a great extent, specific or varietal rank for the extreme hairy expression described by D. Don is not justified. However, it may be convenient to be able to refer to this densely hairy plant by name, and so the rank of form is accorded.
