Shrub up to 3 m tall. Young shoots and branches glandular hairy with brownish hairs. Leaves obovate-cuneate to ± spathulate, 2.5-8 x 1.7-4.2 cm, entire to undulate, obtuse to sometimes retuse or subacute, ± coriaceous, pubescent. Petiole up to 12 mm long. Calyx 2 mm long, 5-partite, shallow cupular, glandular-pubescent; lopes, ovate-oblong. Corolla white to tinged bluish, tube c. 3 mm long, limb 8-10 mm broad; lobes obtuse, spreading. Filaments 3.5–4 mm long, glabrous; anthers oblong, 1.5 mm long. Ovary ovoid. Styles 2, spreading. Drupe subglobose, 5-6 mm broad, pyrenes 2–4.

Distribution: Abyssinia, Afghanistan, Pakistan, India.
Found in dry places.
