Pavonia glechomaefolia f. karachiensis S. Abedin in Pak. J. Bot. 11(1):66. 1979.
It differs from the forma glechomaefolia in having swollen structure at the top of pedicel because of the presence of dense hairs.
Holotype: Pakistan, Karachi, near P.C.S.I.R. 30-60 cm tall, flowers yellow with dark centre, 18.9.1969. M.Ismaeel s.n. (KUH).
Distribution: Known only from the type locality.
