Ruta crenulata  (Boiss.) Burkill 
25-40 cm tall, woody at the base, glabrous. Leaves elliptic-lanceolate, fleshy, 20-25 x 3-8 mm, obtuse to subacute, base attenuate, glandular, margin crenulate. Inflorescence lax, bracteate. Sepals deltoid-ovate, glandular, persistent. Petals reddish, oblong-elliptic, clawed. Stamens free, sparsely pubescent. Ovary 5-locular, bi-ovulate. Young ovary with large apical tubercles. Capsule 4-4.5 mm broad. 
 
 
Type: Baluchistan, Kalat, 15. iv. 1850, Stocks 928 (G); isotype (K).  
Distribution: Iran, W. Pakistan.
