Impatiens edgeworthii var. toppinii Hook. f. ex ToppinImpatiens pseudo-bicolor Grey-Wilson
Differs from the type variety in the funnel shaped (not conoid) lower sepal and the different shape of the lateral fused petal pair.

Type: Ganga Kandao-Durrah, Nullah, 7500', chiefly in shade, fls. pinky-white, B.L. Burtt & M.A. Kazmi 1253 (E!).
Distribution: Chitral, Swat & Hazara.
The two subsp. overlap in their distribution in Hazara. In Swat subsp. pseudo-bicolor is more common and in parts of Chitral its distribution overlaps with Impatiens lemannii Hook. f. from which it differs in the narrower lateral fused petals, the throat and lower sepal yellow and capsule erect at maturity. The subsp. is not known to extend to Kashmir, where it is replaced by Impatiens balfourii Hook. f. with serrate leaves and different lateral petals. The variety recticornis Grey-Wilson l.c. 9. with a straight and longer spur from Nuristan is not known to occur in Pakistan.
