Mondo planiscapum (Nakai) BaileyOphiopogon japonicus var. wallichianus Maxim.
Plants with grass-like leaves, as long as or shorter than the scape; margin entire, distichous. Scape erect, flattened, winged, many-flowered. Flowers in fascicles, nodding, white to light purple. Bracts lanceolate, 2-5 cm long, hyaline.
Fl. Per.: July-August.
Distribution: Himalayas. Not a very common species.
