Androsace crassifolia Wendelbo
Type: Nuristan: Inter Kotal-a-Agok and Waigel, Neubauer 1961/865, W!. Wendelbo (1958) described and figured Androsace crassifolia but later (1965) he reduced it to a synonym of Androsace harrissii. After having studied the Type specimens of both and other material, I have come to the conclusion that the two are fairly distinct.
Distribution: Nuristan (E. Afghanistan).
