A typo foliis pilosis, bracteis oblanceolate-ellipticis, trinervis, acutis, margine ciliatis recedit. Leaves pilose, bracts oblanceolate-elliptic 3-nerved, acute, ciliate on margins.

Holotype: Malir, Karachi, 20.41971, Tariq Hussain s.n. (KUH).
Distribution: Pakistan (NWFP, Baluchistan & Punjab).
