A typo caulibus principalibis nullis foliis anguste lineari-lanceolatis, 1-2 cm x 2-4 mm, recedit.

Differing from the type variety in the absence of main stem, stunted growth, narrowly linear-lanceolate, 1-2 cm x 2-4 mm, basal leaves and spikes arising right from the base.
