Leaves 5-7 (-11) x 1.5-3 mm. Corolla pale pink.

Type: Pakistan [D4]: Quetta, Ziarat, 2100 m, Rechinger 29370 (bolo. W!).
Distribution: E. Afghanistan, Pakistan.
Some specimens of this subspecies from the type locality area, Quetta/Ziarat, and from Parachinar are clearly different in facies from subsp. linearis, others approach the type subspecies. The nomen " Thymus lacei Klokov" refers to this subspecies.
