Branches mostly spreading, stem quadrangular, angles usually scabridulous; leaf margin generally flat. Corolla-tube mostly 3–4 times longer than the lobes, infundibular.
Type: From a specimen cultivated at Hort. Upsal. 125/6 (LINN).
Distribution: Throughout India, Western Himalayas in Simla, southward to Ceylon and Singapore, S. China and Malaya.
Recorded for the first time from Pakistan.
