Related to Stellaria kotschyana Fenzl. ex Boiss., but stems and branches slender; leaves linear-oblanceolate to narrow-oblong; sepals 2-3.5 mm, ovate, apex rounded or sub-acute.

Distribution: Iran, Soviet Central Asia, Afghanistan, Pakistan (Baluchistan & Waziristan).
