Plants erect, cushion forming. Stems slender with reddish tomentum. Leaves lanceolate, acuminate, distal laminal cells ± quadrate, smooth, basal cells longer, smooth. Seta erect, black. Capsule asymmetric, ± inclined, peristome reduced.
