Education B.A., Indiana University, 1986 Interests Floristics of Venezuela Floristics of Indiana Photography and visual presentation of information to identify plants Research Emphases I have received a grant to take a 12-week sabbatical at Friesner Herbarium, Butler University, Indianapolis, to complete the research for Catalogue of the Vascular Flora of Indiana, which will go to press in 2001. This is the first comprehensive list of species since 1982 and will have over 350 additional species records. Each entry will include synonyms used in Indiana publications, source of the record for Indiana, voucher specimen if one has been located, vernacular name(s), origin (i.e., native, introduced, alien), habit, and for flowering plants the months of blooming. After publication of Catalogue of the Vascular Flora of Indiana, it will serve as the backbone for a website on the Vascular Flora of Indiana. Photographs taken in preparation for the Field Guide to Indiana Wildflowers (2000) will be added to the website and additional photography will be done and added until every species has at least one photograph.
