Calyptocarpus blepharolepis B. L. Robinson
Leaf blades 1–3(–6) cm. Rays often inconspicuous, laminae mostly 2–5 mm. Cypselae 2–4 mm; pappi of ± erect to spreading awns, the longer 1–2(–3+) mm. 2n = 24.
Flowering ± year round. Ruderal, lawns, along paths and roads, clays, sands, calcareous soils; 0–300 m; Ala., Fla., La., Miss., Tex.; Mexico; Central America.
