Crataegus arkansana Sargent
Stems: twigs ± straight; thorns on twigs absent or few. Leaf blades broadly elliptic to ovate, lobes 4–6 per side, sinuses deep (LII 20–40%), lobe apex acute. Stamens 20. Pomes red.
Flowering Mar–May; fruiting Sep–Nov. Brush, open woodlands, flood plains; 50–300; Ont.; Ill., Mo., Tex., Wis.
