Large bindweed
Leaf blades: basal sinus rounded. Peduncles 1 per axil. Flowers: corolla not pink-tinged, except mid-petaline bands, 48–65 mm; anthers 5–6.5 mm. 2n = 22.
Flowering Jun–Oct. Disturbed sites, abandoned plantings; 0–100 m; introduced; B.C.; Calif., Oreg., Wash.; w Europe; nw Africa; introduced also in Pacific Islands (New Zealand), Australia.
Collections from Litchfield, Connecticut, 1941 (NY), and Long Island, New York, 1906 (PH), may be Calystegia silvatica subsp. disjuncta.
