Shrubs, 0.2-1 m. Buds caprea-type. Leaves: stipules on late ones rudimentary or foliaceous; largest medial blade (2.6-)3.3-5.9 times as long as wide, adaxial surface not glaucous. Staminate flowers: filaments glabrous or, sometimes, hairy basally. Pistillate flowers: adaxial nectary shorter than stipe; stipe 1-2.2 mm; ovary moderately to very densely short-silky; stigmas with flat, non-papillate abaxial surface and rounded tip, 0.2-0.26-0.4 mm.
