Anaphalis nagasawai Hayata
Stems 3-10 cm tall, much branched from base, erect, densely leafy, sometimes stoloniferous. Radical leaves rosulate, spatulate, 6-10×3-5 mm, apex obtuse, base sessile, margins entire, woolly on both surfaces; cauline and upper leaves longer, spatulate, 10-15×2.5 mm, apex obtuse, mucronulate, base contracted, decurrent, woolly on both surfaces. Heads solitary or 2- or 3 together, heterogamous; involucre globose-campanulate, 10×14-17 mm, bracts 7-series, outer bracts ovate, shorter, apex acute, medium ones longer, oblong. Outer florets numerous, pistillate, corolla filiform, 4-5 mm long, 4-lobed; pappus 4.5 mm long. Corolla of central florets tubular, 4.5 mm long, 5-lobed; style bifid; pappus white, 4.5 mm long, caducous. Achenes cylindric, terete, 1 mm long, glabrous.
Himalayas to western China. Taiwan, on summit of high mountains.
