Stems ascending or arising from creeping base, to 20 cm long, 5 mm in diam., glabrous, succulent, light purple. Leaves ovate, to 5 cm long, 3.2 cm wide, apex acute, base obtuse, serrulate at margins, dark purple and 3-veined on upper surface, light purple on lower surface; petiole to 1.8 cm long. Peduncle ca. 10 cm long, villous, light purple, with 2-4 flowers above.
