    Pseudobulbs ovoid or globose, sometimes oblique, 1.5 cm tall, ca. 1 cm in diam., with 3-4 nodes, covered by scarious sheaths, usually 2-leaved at apex. Leaves linear, 30-45 cm long, 1-1.5 cm wide, apex acuminate, attenuate toward base and articulate with petiole, plicate, mainly 3-nerved, false stem below articulation 5 cm long. Peduncle shorter than leaves, arising from upper side of pseudobulb, erect, 20-25 cm long, slender, base enclosed by few overlapping sheaths, middle with 2-3 remotely spaced long tubular sheaths; rachis ca. 2-3 cm long; bracts ovate-lanceolate, 3 mm long, 0.7 mm wide, acute; pedicel and ovary 8-12 mm long, slender, glabrous. Flowers 10 or more subcapitate not opening widely; sepals subequal, dorsal one lanceolate or oblong, ca. 10 mm long, 2.5-3 mm wide, acute, 5nerved, lateral ones ovate-lanceolate, 9-10 mm long, 3.5 mm wide, slightly oblique, apex acute, more or less contracted at base; petals with purple dots, oblong, 9 mm long, 3.5 mm wide, apex acute, contracted at base, 5-nerved; lip cuneate-obovate, short clawed at base, 6-7 mm long, 4 mm wide, 3-lobed above claw, lateral lobes linear-oblong, 2.5-3 mm long, 0.4 mm wide, apex obtuse, 1-nerved, midlobe oblong-obovate, 5 mm long, 3-4 mm wide, apex rounded, base cuneate, crisped and ciliate along front margin, disc sparsely hirsute and dark-punctate, with grooved callus near base; column 3.5 mm long, base slightly dilated and auriculate on both sides; anther ovate, 0.8 mm long; pollinia ovoid, 0.4 mm long.
