Paraprenanthes Chang ex C. Shih
假福王草屬
Annual, biennial or perennial herbs. Leaves entire to variously lobed-pinnatisect. Heads slender, rather few flowered, numerous in paniculate corymbs. Florets pink or purple. Achenes terete to fusiform, beakless, black, 4-6-ribbed on each side, glabrous. Pappus bristles minutely scabrid.
About 15 species in eastern and southeastern Asia, mainly China; one species in Taiwan.
