Plants 15-30 cm tall. Tubers fusiform or ovoid, many-noded. Peduncle whitish, with red-brown stripes, with many sheath-like scales below, few-flowered at upper portion; bracts ovate-lanceolate, 6-7 mm long, acuminate; pedicel and ovary 1 cm long, ovary distinctly dilated. Flowers not widely opened, pendulous; sepals and petal similar, connivent, whitish, with purple diverging tips, lanceolate, 7-9 mm long, 2.5 mm wide; lip ovate-lanceolate, 8 mm long, 3.5 mm wide, with pair of callus at base; column short, with separate anther and stigma. Capsules ellipsoid, 7-9 mm long. Seeds linear-oblong, 0.5-1 mm long.
