    Stems obscured by leaf sheaths. Leaves needle like, semiterete, linear, 3-8 cm long, 2-3 mm wide, sulcate above, reniform in cross section, articulated with sheath. Racemes axillary, shorter than leaves, laxly to rather densely flowered; peduncle 2-4 cm long, slender; bracts ovate, 3-4 mm long; pedicel and ovary 5-10 mm long. Flowers 4-7 or more, pink, not widely opening; sepals and petals oblong-lan-ceolate, 5-7 mm long, 2-3 mm wide, obtuse; lip spurred, 3-lobed, lateral lobes yellowish, triangular-ovate, 1 mm long, obtuse, midlobe ovate, 4-5 mm long, 3 mm wide, acute or apiculate, spur straight, greenish, tinged with purple, 5-6 mm long; column stout, 2 mm long, with short obtuse teeth at apex on ventral side; anther cap purple, conic-semispheric, 1 mm across; pollinia globose, 0.5 mm in diam., stipe 1 mm long, viscidium ovate; stigma broad, semiorbicular; rostellum short, minutely bifid.

    Endemic, common in broadleaved forests at 1,000-2,000 m elevation throughout the island.
