Terrestrial herbs. Stems ascending from a creeping base, up to 20 cm long, leafy upward, upper leaves often gradually transformed into bracts. Leaves obliquely ovate-elliptic, 6-8 cm long, 2.5-3.3 cm wide, acute at apex, rounded at base, grayish-green, veins distinctly reticulate; petioles 2-3 cm long. Peduncle up to 20 cm long, glabrous, with 3-6 glabrous sheaths; rachis 6-10 cm long, densely with many flowers; floral bracts glabrous. Flowers racemose, glabrous; ovary pale green, glabrous, slightly curved at apex; sepals pale green at base, whitish toward apex, dorsal one ovate, 3.5-4.2 mm long, lateral ones obliquely ovate, 4.3-4.6 mm long, not spreading; petals white, falcate, 3.7-4.3 mm long; lip 45 mm long, white or tinged with green at base, base saccate, hairy within, limb ovate, with low hairy protuberances around center, obscurely denticulate; column about 1.8-2.2 mm long, somewhat semi-cir-cular, flat in ventral side; anther broadly ovate, nearly horizontal, 1 mm long; pollinia ovoid-clavate, 1 mm long; rostellum flattened toward apex, bifid; viscidium elliptic.

Endemic. Known only from Lanyu Is.
