Goodyera yangmeishanensis T. P. Lin, Native Orch. Taiwan. 2: 173(f.). 1977.

小小斑葉蘭

Terrestrial herbs. Stems with creeping base, ascending at apex, up to 10 mm long, leafy upward, upper leaves gradually transformed into bracts. Leaves ovate to elliptic, 2-6 cm long, 1-3.2 cm wide, acute at apex, rounded at base, green but with fine white network at upper surface. Peduncle 5-8 cm long, glabrous below, slightly hairy above, with 2-3 sheaths; rachis 4-7 cm long, densely flowered; floral bracts ovate-lanceolate, serrulate at base. Flowers racemose; ovary glabrous, greenish brown; sepals greenish brown, dorsal one ovate, 3-3.3 mm long, lateral ones obliquely lanceolate-ovate, 3.5-4 mm long, not spreading; petals white, obliquely spatulate, 3-3.3 mm long, entire or toothed at apex; lip undivided, 4-5 mm long, base deeply saccate, hairy within, limb ovate, irregularly toothed at margin near apex; column, 2-2.5 mm long; anther cordate, somewhat incumbent; stigma nearly orbicular, not protruding; rostellum flattened toward apex.
