Stem often less than 20 cm tall, simple or branched once or twice. Leaves solitary, rarely 2, ovate to cordate, 11 cm long, 6.5 cm wide, apex acute, base rounded, with 3-6 lateral veins on each side, veinlet 2-6; sheaths less than 2 cm long. Spikes terminal, 4-8 cm long; bracts lanceolate, glabrous. Flowers 1020, white, glabrous; sepals subequal, dorsal sepal free, narrowly lanceolate, 9-10 mm long, lateral sepal connate 9/10 their length, 10-11 mm long, saccate at base; petals triangular-lanceolate, shorter than sepals, keeled; lip ca. 9 mm long, 2 mm wide, saccate at base, narrowly ligulate at apex, disc with 2 longitudinal ridges; column straight, 5-6 mm long; anther lanceolate, 3-3.3 mm long, acuminate at apex; pollinia clavate, stipe very slender; viscidium linear-lanceolate; stigma broadly tiangular; rostellum tri-angular-lanceolate.
