緣毛松蘭

Stems long creeping, to 10 cm long, rooting throughout. Leaves ovate-elliptic to oblanceolate, 0.8- 2.5 cm long, 0.4-0.5 mm wide, apex acute or apiculate, base twisted, articulated with sheath, fleshy, coriaceous, upper surface green, lower surface brown-punctate. Racemes 1.2 cm long; bract minute, ca. 1 mm long; pedicel and ovary 3-4 mm long. Flowers 3 or 4, yellowish green, brown punctate outside; sepals elliptic, 2.7-3 mm long, 1-1.3 mm wide, acute or obtuse, concave; petals rhombic-elliptic, 2.4-2.7 mm long, 1.3 mm wide; lip adnate to base of column, sac semispherical or bowl-shaped, 2 mm long, with wide opening; limb triangular, 3 mm across, ciliate, very sparsely pubescent; column stout, ca. 1 mm tall; anther cap ovate-triangular, 1 mm long; pollinia globose, 0.3 mm in diam., stipe slender, forked apically; viscidium triangular-ovate. Capsule obovoid, 9-10 mm long.

Japan. Taiwan, recently collected in forest at 1800 m in the central part of the island.
