Peramium matsumuranum (Schltr.) Makino
Herbs probably epiphytic. Stems ascending, up to 10 cm long, with somewhat rosette leaves. Leaves 3-5, ovate, 3-7 cm long, 2-4 cm wide, acute at apex, rounded at base, green, with white network of veins on upper surface, pale green on lower surface; petioles 1-2 cm long. Peduncle up to 8 cm long, dark brown, sparsely hairy above, glabrous below, with 4-7 bract-like sheaths; rachis 3-7 cm long, with numerous flowers; floral bracts ovate-triangular, 6 mm long, denticulate at lower margins. Flowers racemose; ovary pale brown, glabrous; sepals reddish-brown, 3-4 mm long, 2-3 mm wide, glabrous outside, dorsal one ovate, concave, lateral ones broadly ovate, oblique, not spreading, slightly saccate at base; petals rhombic, 3-3.3 mm long, 1.4-1.6 mm wide, white; lip ovate, 3-4 mm long, white, base saccate, hirsute within, not protruding beyond lateral sepals, limb beak-like; column 1.5 mm long, rounded at lateral and dorsal side, flat at ventral side; anther nearly incumbent, cordate, 1 mm long; pollinia clavate, 0.8 mm long.

Probably distributed in the Ryukyus. Taiwan, in forest at low elevations.
