    Epiphytic herbs with distinct rhizomes. Rhizomes rigid, ca. 3 mm in diam., with pseudobulbs arising 2-4 cm apart. Stems yellowish green, fleshy; pseudobulbous long cylindrical, 6-12 cm long, 5-8 mm in diam., narrowed at apex, dilated at base, lustrous. Leaves 2, terminal, at apex of stem, oblan-ceolate-linear, 10-15 cm long, 1-1.5 cm wide, apex acute, base cuneate, articulated with pseudobulb. Racemes terminal; peduncle and rachis ca. 10-20 cm long, nearly terete; bracts lanceolate, 3-5 mm long; pedicel and ovary 8 mm long. Flowers numerous, dense, pale green or nearly white, with strongly reflexed sepals and petals; sepals oblong, 3.5 mm long, 1 mm wide, obtuse at apex; petals linear, 3.5 mm long, 0.5 mm wide; lip ovate, 3-4 mm long, 2-2.5 mm wide, base erect, margins thick, incurved, recurved downward from middle, apex 2-lobed, apical margin minutely ciliate; disc with 2 pointed calli at base; column green, 2 mm long, more or less arcuate, apex inconspicuously winged, dilated at base; anther green, margin white at base; pollinia elongate ovoid, ca. 0.5 mm long.

    Widely distributed in the Philippines, Thailand, Sumatra, Java, Sulawesi, Papua New Guinea, and the Pacific islands. Taiwan, mainly in the east low elevations (100-500 meters).
