    Terrestrial herbs. Stems erect, ascending from short creeping base, 5-12 cm tall, rooted near base. Leaves ovate-lanceolate, 3-4 cm long 1.5-2.5 cm wide, apex acute, base obtuse; petiole to 1 cm long. Peduncle hairy, with 2-3 bract-like sheaths, sheaths hairy abaxially, ciliate at margin; apike few-flow-ered or densely many-flowered; floral bracts hairy abaxially, ciliate at margins; ovary 5-7 mm long, sparsely hairy or glabrous. Sepals 3.2-3.6 mm long, dark green or tinged with brown, sparsely hairy at lower half or nearly glabrous, dorsal one ovate-lanceolate, lateral ones obliquely ovate, not spreading; petals white, sub-rectangular; lip tripartite, 3-3.6 mm long, hypochile saccate, yellowish white, containing 2 horn-like papillae, mesochile yellow, often tinged with red, fleshy, epichile bent downward at 70°-80° angle, bilobed, lobules rectangular, 1.6-1.7 mm long, 1.3-1.6 mm wide, bright yellow; column 2 mm long, with 2 tabular, elevated ventral appendages to 0.4 mm high; anther ovate-lanceolate, 1.5 mm long; stigma 2, located near base of rostellum; rostellum triangular, bent downward at apex.
