Cladochaeta candissima (Bieb.) DC.
Mat-forming plant, all parts densely white-tomentose. Stems 10-40 cm, procumbent-ascending, spreading. Leaves alternate, sessile, lanceolate or oblong-lanceolate, 2-5 cm long. Flowering stem leafless. Flower heads cylindrical, 10 mm long, clustered 15-20 in a corymb. Flowers yellow. V - early spring to late autumn. Fl - June. Fr - August. P - by seed or cuttings. Requires a sunny position. Z 6 (5). New.
Caucasus (Greater Caucasus, Dagestan and the southeastern Transcaucasus). On dunes, rocky soil and gravelly substrates.
