Main root branched, thick. Caudex long, 6-7 mm in diam. Caudex leaves scalelike, triangular, ca. 4 × 4 mm. Flowering stems 4-10 cm, finely mammillate. Stem leaves aggregated toward stem apex; petiole 5-8 mm; leaf blade oblong, ovate-oblong, or ovate, 1-1.5 × 0.8-1.3 cm, base cuneate, margin pinnately lobed, apex obtuse. Inflorescences corymbiform, compact; bracts orbicular-spatulate, ca. 1 cm. Flowers bisexual, unequally 5-merous. Sepals linear, triangular-linear, or narrowly triangular-ovate, ca. 4 × 0.6-1 mm. Petals oblong-ovate, 7-9 × 1.5-3 mm, margin entire or apically erose. Stamens 10; antesepalous ones ca. 6 mm; antepetalous ones ca. 4 mm, inserted ca. 2 mm from petal base. Nectar scales suboblong, ca. 1 × 0.5 mm, apex emarginate. Styles ca. 2 mm. Follicles erect, lanceolate, 7-8 mm. Fl. Aug, fr. Sep-Oct.
