Leaflets large, 8–10 × 4–6 cm. Flowers 8–10 in corymb, large, 4–6 cm in diam. Petals abaxially sericeous.
Valley forests, open slopes; 1200--2500 m. Shaanxi (Gouchang Xian), C Sichuan (Tianquan Xian).
