细筒唇柱苣苔 xi tong chun zhu ju tai

Perennials, stemless. Rhizome internodes inconspicuous. Leaves basal, opposite; petiole 0.2-3 cm X ca. 1.2 mm; leaf blade narrowly elliptic to narrowly obovate, 1.4-5.4 X 0.6-2.4 cm, thin papery, densely pubescent to appressed pilose, eglandular, base cuneate, margin repand-denticulate, apex acute; lateral veins ca. 3 on each side of midrib, inconspicuous. Cymes 1-flowered; peduncle ca. 1.2 cm, puberulent; bracts 2, free, linear, (1-)2.5-3 X ca. 0.3 mm, puberulent, margin entire, apex acute. Pedicel 3-5 mm, puberulent. Calyx 5-sect from base; segments equal, lanceolate-linear, 4-6 X 0.5-1 mm, outside puberulent to pilose, inside glabrous to pubescent, margin 2-4-denticulate to entire, apex acute to attenuate. Corolla purple, 2.5-3.4 cm, outside puberulent to sparsely puberulent, inside glabrous; tube cylindric, ca. 2.1 cm X 3-5 mm; adaxial lip ca. 6 mm; abaxial lip ca. 1.3 cm. Filaments ca. 5.5 mm, sparsely glandular puberulent; anthers fused by entire adaxial surfaces, ca. 3 mm, glabrous; staminodes 3, central ca. 0.4 mm, laterals 0.6-1 mm. Pistil ca. 2.2 cm, puberulent to pilose; ovary ca. 3.5 mm. Stigma cuneate, ca. 2.5 mm, 2-lobed. Fruit and seeds unknown. Fl. Jun.

After publication of the family treatment for the Flora of China, this was treated as Primulina vestita (D. Wood) Mich. Möller & A. Weber (Taxon 60: 785. 2011).
