姜状沿阶草 jiang zhuang yan jie cao
Rhizome gingerlike, ca. 3 cm thick, fleshy. Leaves basal, tufted, sessile, grasslike, 15--30 cm × 4--6 mm, 5--9-veined. Scape ca. 18 cm. Inflorescence a raceme, ca. 3 cm, more than 10-flowered; bracts linear, basal one ca. 7 mm. Flowers solitary; pedicel ca. 2.5 mm, articulate near middle. Tepals deltoid-ovate, ca. 4 mm (in slightly immature flowers). Filaments very short; anthers ca. 3 mm. Style ca. 3 mm. Fl. May--Jun. 2 n = 36*.
