准噶尔黄耆 zhun ga er huang qi
Plants 30-40 cm tall, subshrubby, covered with appressed, ± medifixed, white hairs 0.8-1.2 mm. Stems of current year 7-15 cm, very densely hairy. Leaves 3.5-10 cm; stipules 2-4 mm, densely hairy; petiole 1.5-3 cm, like rachis very densely hairy; leaflets in 2 or 3 pairs (in lowermost leaves in 1 pair), 15-30 × 2-6 mm, both surfaces rather densely to very densely hairy. Racemes 3-4 cm, remotely 4-6-flowered; peduncle 1-5 cm, densely hairy; bracts ca. 1 mm, hairy. Calyx 5-5.5 mm, densely appressed white hairy; teeth 0.5-1 mm. Petals pale purplish; standard widely rhombic-elliptic, 13-14 × 5.5-6 mm, somewhat abruptly narrowed into long claw, apex deeply emarginate; wings 12-13 mm; keel 8-10 mm. Legumes 5-8 mm, 3.5-5 mm high and 2.5-3.5 mm wide, with a beak 2-3 mm; valves rather densely covered with strongly asymmetrically bifurcate to subbasifixed spreading hairs up to 1.5 mm and with very short subappressed hairs.
