察隅黄耆 cha yu huang qi

Plants sparsely hairy. Stems strongly branched, nearly gla­brous or hairy when young. Leaves 3-4 cm, subsessile; stipules ca. 3 mm, sparsely hairy, behind stem connate to middle; rachis hairy or nearly glabrous; leaflets in 4-6 pairs, narrowly elliptic, 4-7 × 2-3 mm, sparsely hairy abaxially, glabrous adaxially, apex emarginate. Racemes 4- or 5-flowered; peduncle 0.5-1.2 cm, subglabrous. Calyx ca. 5 mm, sparsely covered with white and black hairs or subglabrous; teeth ca. 1.7 mm. Petals purple-red; standard elliptic, ca. 9 × 5 mm; wings ca. 8 mm; keel ca. 7.5 mm. Legumes with a stipe ca. 3.5 mm, oblong, ca. 10 mm, 3-4 mm high, with a short beak, 1-locular; valves sparsely white hairy.
