Usually small trees. Branchlets, petioles, inflorescences, and leaf blade abaxially always densely yellowish brown pubescent. Leaf blade usually obovate to broadly oblanceolate, 8-27 × 3.5-9 cm. Fruiting pedicel somewhat thickened.
Anhui, Fujian, Guangdong, Guangxi, Guizhou, Hubei, Hunan, Jiangsu, Jiangxi, Yunnan, Zhejiang [Vietnam].
