基枝鸦葱 ji zhi ya cong
Herbs 7-20 cm tall, perennial, with grayish short branched hairs. Rootstock dark brown, cylindric, ca. 1 cm in diam. Caudex densely covered with leaf sheath residues. Stems solitary to few, erect, branched from base, basally leafy; branches ascending-erect. Basal leaves linear, 5-20 × 0.1-0.5 cm, margin flat, apex acuminate. Stem leaves similar to basal leaves but smaller. Synflorescence diffusely corymbiform, with few capitula. Involucre campanulate, 1.3-2 × 0.3-1 cm. Phyllaries abaxially arachnoid hairy; outermost phyllaries ovate to lanceolate. Florets yellow, sometimes ligule adaxially reddish, ca. 1.5 × as long as involucre. Achene cylindric, 1-1.2 cm, with tuberculate ribs, glabrous. Pappus white tinged with yellow, ca. 1.5 cm. Fl. and fr. Jun.
