伊犁霸王 yi li ba wang
Herbs, perennial, 5-20 cm tall. Roots thick, woody. Stems much branched, herbaceous. Stipules distinct, ovate-triangular on basal stems, lanceolate on apical stems, membranous, margin serrate. Leaves with 2-6 leaflets; leaflet blades ovate to rotund, 10-12 × 5-7 mm. Flowers axillary, solitary or paired. Pedicel 5-7 mm. Sepals oblong, 5-6 mm, apex obtuse. Petals orange at base, obovate to oblong, as long as sepals, apex obtuse to rounded. Stamens ca. 2 × petal length; appendages shorter than filaments. Capsule cylindric, oblong, or oblong-ovoid, ca. 2 × 0.6 cm, both ends obtuse, wings narrow; styles persistent. Seeds ovoid to reniform, ca. 3 mm. Fl. May, fr. Jul-Aug.
