越桔叶忍冬 yue ju ye ren dong
Basionym: Lonicera myrtillus J. D. Hooker & Thomson, J. Proc. Linn. Soc., Bot. 2: 168. 1858; Caprifolium parvifolium Kuntze; L. angustifolia var. rhododactyla W. W. Smith; L. minutifolia Kitamura; L. myrtillus var. cyclophylla Rehder; L. myrtillus var. depressa Rehder.
Leaves 5-15 mm, apex obtuse. Peduncle to 5 mm. Fl. May-Jun(-Jul), fr. Aug-Sep.
Scrub, sparse forests, stony places along river valleys; 2400-4000 (-4700) m. SW Sichuan, Xizang, Yunnan [Afghanistan, Bhutan, India (Assam), Kashmir, N Myanmar, Pakistan].
After publication of the corresponding Flora of China volume, this was treated (Taiwania 56: 213. 2011) as Devendraea myrtillus (J. D. Hooker & Thomson) Pusalkar.
