Leaf blade of middle stem leaves ovate to narrowly elliptic, 6-15 × 2.5-7.5 cm, margin dentate to denticulate, apex acute; teeth cartilaginous, directed slightly toward apex to almost rectangularly outward. Anther appendages obtuse, rounded, or slightly emarginate. 2n = 26*.
