拟牛毛藓

Plants minute, up to 3 mm high, yellowish green, in compact tufts. Stems erect, simple. Leaves loosely appressed, contorted above, 1.8–2.0 mm long, rather abruptly narrowed from an oblong base to a long, slender, curved acumen; margins plane below, sometimes slightly incurved in the middle; costa percurrent to shortly excurrent; upper cells linear, 25–50 µm × 3–4 µm, thin-walled; shoulder cells shorter and wider, 20–40 µm × 5–10 µm; basal cells linear-rectangular, 50–75 µm × 13–20 µm, thin-walled, pellucid. Dioicous. Setae straight, 2–3 mm long, yellowish brown; capsules suberect, oblong-ovoid, ca. 0.6 mm long; opercula short conic-rostrate; annuli none; peristome teeth absent. Spores 26–31 µm in diameter, brown, coarsely papillose.

Type. China: Sichuan, Yan-yuan Co., Handel-Mazzetti 2383 (holotype H).
