Annual or perennial, prostrate, slender, with a stellate pubescence. Leaves simple, palmately lobed. Umbels simple, compact. Involucral bracts few, scar¬ious, lacerate. Flowers sub-sessile, white to purplish white. Calyx teeth obsolete or evident. Stylopodium conical; styles short; carpophore lacking. Fruit ovoid: ridges obsolete; vittae obscure.
A South American genus of 14 species.
